Stunning wildlife images from Mother Earth
Award-winning photographer Marsel Van Oosten reminds us just how precious our natural world really is.
Dutch photographer Marsel van Oosten is pretty good at this whole wildlife photography caper.
He is the only photographer to date to have been named ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’, ‘International Nature Photographer of the Year’ and ‘Travel Photographer of the Year’.
And his signature style of singular subjects and pared-down motifs has become instantly recognisable.
In his latest book, Mother: A Tribute to Mother Earth, Marsel travelled the planet to capture the beauty, diversity, and vulnerability of the natural world.
Starting in Africa, he moves through all the continents, creating a stunning, visual and emotive journey across the planet we call home.
What’s more, part of the proceeds from the book will go to The Canopy Project, which plants trees from all over the world.
Mother: A Tribute to Mother Earth, is published by teNeues Publishing. Order your copy on Amazon or support your local bookstore at Bookshop.org.
